Blood Test for Ketones & Glucose before Dinner

* Dr Noyan has just instructed that we can stop the Urine test for ketones. This week Carla will ensure that you are all trained to do it  so that it will be everyone as well as Kingsley and Mina to do a  blood glucose and ketone test which uses a special device – Keto Mojo.

Before doing the test Dr Noyan reminded us to please ensure both Fela and staff member wash their hands with soap and water.

It involves pricking Fela’s finger to get a bit of blood and was recommended by Dr Noyan for us to try as it gives more accurate readings.
