On my arrival I went to say hello to Fela and I was greeted with a beautiful smile and giggles, I told Fela how much I had missed him, I then had handover and went over a few different things with Nadia and Dan.
I then went into Fela and we had a chat and I gave Fela the poppet I got for him, we both had a go and I went through the different colours.
I then prepared the evening meal and did some jobs I needed to complete, Dan cleaned Fela’s keloids and Fela went to the toilet and had a large bowel movement, after Fela washed his hands and returned to the lounge.
We then all sat together and ate our meal, Fela ate well and seemed to really enjoy his meal, after the board was done and myself and Dan did chores and I prepared Fela’s bag for our walk, I then cleaned Fela’s keloids and his left keloid was literally oozing pud, I placed a tissues under to catch it all and after I cleaned it again and applied dressing to both keloids.
Fela completely refused to go on a walk and instead asked to lie on the sofa, I explained that it was to late for sleep, I chatted to Fela and gave him his slinky to stop him from falling asleep, he did on a couple of occasions fall asleep but I managed to keep him awake, I tried to encourage Fela to use his ball but he again refused, Fela did appear very tired.
At 8pm I sat with Fela at the table while he had his evening snack, Fela then sat in his rocking chair listening to music.
At 8.30pm Dan started to run Fela’s bath and then Dan completed Fela’s bath routine with Fela, he did excellent and is now relaxing and splashing away.
The board as being updated throughout the shift and all supplements taken.
