Shift Report:

On arrival Fela was finishing his morning routine upstairs with Teresa he was downstairs and eating his breakfast by 9.15. We had handover and then I went to sit with Fela at the dining table. Once Fela had finished his porridge he went to sit in his rocking chair to relax and listen to music.

Later we all sat down for lunch and said prayer, Fela ate well. Afterwards Fela was asked to wipe the table and help with drying the dishes.

At 13.55 Fela became vocal adgitated, clapping hands, stamping feet, guttural noises, rocking back and forth this was straight after wiping the table and drying the dishes in the kitchen. This lasted 5 minutes.

Later on in the day we all did makaton together Fela did really well. We then decided to do a walk at home ‘workout with nick’ because we were still waiting for the district nurse. Fela exercised for a round 15 minutes then wanted to finish. Fela sat back in his chair and listened to music.

Claire then changed Felas dressings and read a book. At 15.55 the district nurse arrived but didn’t change his dressings because this had been done around 15 minutes prior. Carla spoke the the district nurse via telephone. Afterwards Fela sat at the dining table to enjoy his snack. He then returned to his chair to listen to music.

On leaving Fela is relaxing in his rocking chair listening to music.
