Fela was quiet and calm in the morning when MH & I showed up for morning duty. WA the reigning employee of the year was there to give us handover, after handover we rang CC to inform her on the report and also await her guidance for the morning. After CC spoke to us the TEACCH board was updated with Fela as he agreed to it, he was also made aware education with Liz is closed and the cards put on the board, he had his snack and later we got ready for a walk in the neighbourhood but when we stepped on the driveway Fela was unsettle so we returned back inside. He was agitated for 10 minutes, removed hiking boots and then went to relax on the sofa, we offered him a glass of water to cool down. I went to prepare lunch as he sat with MH, we all had lunch together and during lunch too he had mood swings during eating so we gave him some space. After lunch we offered him nap, he slept for 30 minutes, CC came around to drop Kefir went on to attend to other things and then came back to enquire about Fela’s morning. We gave her a brief of the morning, she gave some points on what do in such situations, she said goodbye and left, we woke up Fela, we did Makaton, education and then I went through the communication review with him. He had his snack, signed for baking and biscuits, he has been calm after woken, BK got handover when she arrived and when leaving Fela going through the TEACCH board with BK.
