Shift Report:
- Arrived at Fela’s who was about to go into the shower. Ruth assisted him into the shower and then gave us a handover. I began to prepare the roast beef lunch while Mina assisted Fela with his morning routine. I printed off the menu and weeks activities. Fela came down for his breakfast and ate at 09.45. Sat at the sofa at 10.20 and became agitated whilst Mina was going through the board, he did ask for TD Jakes on the tv. We left to give him space and time to calm down. Seemed calmer so went and gave Fela his tongue drum to use. Agitated at times. I gave Fela his snack and drink. I continued to cook the lunch. Fela watched TD Jakes and continued to be agitated throughout the morning so continued to give him space as he kept asking for 5. When lunch was ready Fela seemed to calm and sat with us, said prayer and ate. He then had his pud. During lunch Fela was a little unsettled but was happy when he had his pudding. Used the toilet then sat on the sofa listening to music. Put a movie on for Fela. Fela continues to be agitated throughout the afternoon, noisy, verbal, rocking vigorously. Fela calmed completely by 15.30. I gave him a shave. Paul arrived and gave handover, and explained that would be cooking a meal here for Fela as Milton chippy are on holiday until Friday. Fela was colouring at time of report.
