I arrived on shift and fela had just woken, I took handover from Emma then went up to fela with his waking supplements, tea and fruit.
Fela then made his way to the shower room, removed his clothes and got into the shower.
I then stripped felas bed as he had been incontinent.
Fela then came downstairs, put his apron on and then we said prayer, fela ate his breakfast and had his supplements.
Fela then relaxed on his rocker and listened to music and had his cup of tea.
We then cracked on with chores.
Fela finished his cup of tea and I did the board with fela, Zoe then re did the board as the butchers were closed.
Fela got his shoes on, used the toilet and popped his outdoor wear on.
We then headed to Carla’s to pick up gloves and then drive to chatterley where we had a lovely walk for 30minutes, fela stopped halfway and had his snack and drink.
We arrived back home, fela removed his outdoor wear and sat on his rocker. Zoe then cleaned felas keloids.
We then all sat at the table, said prayer and ate lunch together.
After lunch, fela relaxed in the rocker, we then did wind the Bobbin up and danced and sang along to that. Fela then chose a dvd to watch (the incredible).
Kayleigh then came for meet and greet, fela took himself off to the toilet and had a b/m (large).
Fela then met Kayleigh and said hello then asked for 5.
Fela continued to watch his movie, and we had handover with Teresa.
I then cleaned felas keloids.
Fela then used the toilet and passed urine.
Fela then sat at the table and had his drink and snack.
After snack we did Makaton signs with fela for exotic animals, fela did really well and remembered most of them from last week.
We then did foot physio, standing at the table and pushing our feet up and down to our tip toes.
Fela then did handle (lummi sticks), fela appeared to really enjoy this.
Fela then relaxed watching a dvd (Aladdin).
Fela took his supplements at 5:30pm.
We all sat down for dinner at 5:50pm.
After dinner fela relaxed in his rocker and I gave fela a facial trim and cleaned his keloids.
I then did the board with fela.
We then got our shoes on, fela used the toilet and passed urine and we then headed out. We had a lovely neighbourhood walk, fela was laughing and giggling all the way.
Once back home, fela removed his outdoor wear and then sat at the table, had his snack, drink and supplement.
Fela then relaxed listening to lullabies.
Fela made his way to the bathroom, removed his clothes and then got into the bath. I then assisted fela with his evening routine. Fela is now relaxing in the bath and splashing away.
A lovely shift with a happy fela.
