Fela was relaxing on my arrival, I said hello and then had handover.
Fela relaxed listening to soul woman while staff did chores, Fela went to the toilet and sat for awhile, Fela had a normal bowel movement, after myself and Fela sat at the table while Fela enjoyed his snack of fruit salad, Fela was in such a lovely mood, after Fela relaxed sitting in his rocking chair.
At 4pm I asked Fela if he would like me to read a story, he said yes, so I read three bible stories to Fela and he really enjoyed this, we counted the apples and animals, after Fela chose a film to watch and we all had a cup of tea and sat together in the lounge.
Before the evening meal I cleaned Fela’s keloids and applied aloe gel, Fela then relaxed before we had our meal, Fela ate well and neat and tidy with a beautiful smile throughout, after Fela took his glass out and took off his apron, Fela then relaxed listening to music.
At 6.30pm I did a foot spa for Fela and he was so happy and excited, after the foot Spa we got Fela to clean between his toes with a flannel and to dry between his toes with a towel, Fela did absolutely amazing at this and loved the praise and encouragement from staff.
We then did walk at home and Fela again was happy to do this and completed it without any problems, after Fela relaxed and then we all sat at the table while Fela ate his snack, Fela really appeared to enjoy our company this evening, Fela took out his dishes and when he returned I asked if he would like to sit back at the table with us, Fela sat straight down full of smiles.
Fela then was watching Claire cut some TEACCH cards, I asked Fela if he would like to help and he said yes, Fela cut a total 44 cards out and smiled throughout, Fela put them all in rows and the we counted them while putting them in a small bag.
Fela then completed his bath routine with myself and did really well, Fela is now splashing away.
Today we have had a brilliant evening with a very happy Fela who as appeared to really enjoy our company, lots of smiles and laughs by us all.
