Fela was in bed by 22:35. He did not want the fan on when he came out the bath and was getting dressed. However, he wanted it left on when he got into bed. I covered him with the summer quilt and a light blanket as it was a bit chilly. Fela had a bowel movement just before bed. I sprinkled some lavender oil on his pillows, and prompted him to put his eye mask on.
I checked on Fela at 3:15 and 3:45 and he appeared to be asleep as there was no sound coming from his room. Michael heard him just before 7:00 and took him his supplements and refreshments, so all in all, he appears to have had about 8 hours sleep.
As he was getting dressed, I told him there would be no drumming because we would be preparing him for his hospital visit. I have not told him when the visit will occur as I intend to draft a picture based social story to be read to him on Wednesday morning. He seemed to be okay with this; in fact he looked quite excited.
Fela was in the shower at 8:25 and down for breakfast at 9:00. He was sweating quite a bit as he dressed even though the fan was on but this was probably due to the fact that he was quite fidgety and engaging in a lot of rituals. His keloids appeared to be okay and there were no drips.
Nadia and Dan arrived around 9:30. Fela was happy and ready to go so they left just before 9:45 after a quick handover.
