On arrival Fela was sitting in his rocking chair listening to music. We had handover from Julie I then did the board with Fela we decided that we would go for a walk at Longton park so at 9.50 Fela put on his shoes and used the toilet. He then put on his coat and hat and we went to the car. We arrived at Longton park and walked at a steady pace for around 50 mins, we then went back to the car and Fela enjoyed his snack on the way home we stopped at lidl to get some essentials such as soya milk and fruit. Once back home Fela removed all outdoor wear and went to sit on the toilet and had a bowel movement, he remained in the toilet for 25mins. Afterwards I updated the board with Fela. At lunch time Fela ate well, once finished he requested a nap so I shut the curtains and put some relaxing sleep music on for him and covered Fela with a blanket. Fela remained on the sofa for around 1hour 20mins completely silent but remaining awake. 20mins after waking Fela had his snack and chose a DVD to watch – he chose Aladin. We sat with Fela to watch the film and then started some chores. Emma then arrived had handover. I did the board with Fela and then gave him a shave as he had requested. We then all sat for dinner said prayer, Fela was getting adjitated as he was eating stabbing his fork at the plate, once Fela had finished his food he began to make gutteral noises, slapping the table and rocking side to side we left to go and sit in the staff room. Once calm he removed his apron and and then requested another nap I explained that it was too late for a nap and we could choose a DVD instead. He chose to watch Lion king. At 18.55 I offered Fela his foot massager and he said no I then asked again at 19.20 and he accepted. Emma made Fela a cup of tea and he relaxed watching his film. I then made his snack. Once the film had finished I put some relaxing music on he then recieved a phone call from mama. Emma helped fela with his bath routine.
