09/09/2025 – Day shift – Mercy Kemboi

Shift Report:

At the start of the shift, we received a handover from Mina, and petty cash was checked and signed. Carla called to ask how Fela was faring. We then got ready for shopping, beginning at the butcher’s before heading to Lidl. All required items were purchased with Fela, who assisted in picking the items. He later had his snack in the car.

On our way home, we stopped at Burslem Park for a 50-minute stroll. Back at the house, we offloaded and arranged everything in the appropriate places. Lunch was prepared, and we all ate together.

In the afternoon, we completed domestic chores before moving on to other planned activities. Fela engaged in a Makaton session, followed by an education activity focused on writing words, which he fully participated in. He was then offered a snack and smoothie, after which he took part in foot physio.

Brandy arrived later, and we gave her the handover. Petty cash was signed as usual.
