I reported for day duty. Dan handed over to Loretta and me and we all signed petty cash. Carla called to find out how Fela was doing and provided advice for the day. The TEACCH board was then updated and Fela chose neighbourhood walk. Household chores completed. We were unable to go out because the weather was unfavourable due to the rain. Fela had his snack and we did walk at home with Leslie for 25 minutes and he participated well. Lunch was prepared and he had his lunch and dessert. After lunch, he relaxed in the lounge listening to music. Later we did makaton (choice of books and puzzles). He chose story “ A first book of nature “ and he really enjoyed the reading session. Michael and Carla stopped by to drop off some food items and Fela did 2 puzzles ( Carnival of the animals and Trefl puzzles). He did a great job!. He was able to complete both puzzles with ease. Afterwards, he had his snack. Esther reported for evening duty and I handed over. When leaving, Fela was in the lounge listening to music and calm.
