On arrival I met Zoe at Felas house and awaited Felas arrival. Once Fela had arrived he was very agitated which caused his bandages to come loose he then went to sit in his rocking chair. I put a DVD on for Fela aswell as opening the windows and putting the fan on to cool him down because he was sweating. The adjitation lasted around 40 minutes where Fela was making guttural noises rocking backwards and forwards and slapping his hands together and banging his feet hard on the floor.
Once Fela had calmed he had his snack at the dining table and requested lemon honey and ginger followed by a juice. He then returned to his rocking chair to let me reapply his dressings. He then continued to watch the film while I did the board with him.
He became adjitated again making guttural noises and rocking backwards and forwards and sweating a lot this lasted approx 10 mins each time on and off. Zoe asked if he would like to lay down on the sofa on 2 occasions but Fela said ‘No’.
Before lunch Fela used the toilet and had a bowel movement with a lot of blood, Fela appeared to be more settled afterwards. We then sat down at the dining table we said prayer together, Fela ate neat and tidy. Once he had finished he returned to his rocking chair to watch a DVD while I did the board with him.
At 14.10 Fela had a nap on the sofa, Zoe got Fela comfortable and made the room sleep ready. Fela woke about an hour later used the toilet and was full of laughs and smiles. I then prepared his snack and sat at the table with him while he ate. fela then went to sit in his rocking chair to watch his DVD. Later Zoe replaced his bandages.
On leaving he is sat in his chair requesting food.
