12/05/2025 – Day shift – Mercy Kemboi

Shift Report:

I received the morning handover from Brandy, during which petty cash was checked and signed. All household chores were completed, and the activity board was updated accordingly. Fela was offered a snack and a drink, after which he participated in a 15-minute walk and light exercise session with Nick. Lunch was prepared, served, and enjoyed together by everyone. In the early afternoon, Fela got ready to attend his Education session with Liz. Just before we left, Carla and Michael arrived at the house. We then drove to Liz’s place, where Fela fully engaged in the session and appeared to enjoy it. On the return journey, Fela was offered another snack and drink, which he had in the car.

Upon returning home, Fela  requested to have a nap and I ensured he was comfortable and that the environment was calm and quiet to support his rest. Once he was settled, I gave a full handover to the evening  staff and rechecked and signed the petty cash before ending the shift. Throughout the day, Fela has generally been happy and in a jovial mood, responding positively to activities and interactions.
