Fela was in the bathroom when I arrived, had handover with Adele and Claire. I went to say hello to Fela who was enthusiastically requesting biscuits from me. I explained Mama said no as too much sugar – so he asked for cake in stead. He was also insisting on chicken for dinner.
Fela returned to watching a dvd until dinner time.
Fela enjoyed his dinner and requested cake and ice cream which claire had promised him earlier. His memory can be very good!!
After dinner he assist with the dishes and then requested Joseph and the amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat which he greatly enjoyed.
Before his bath we did a 15 minute walk at home, Fela was happy to join in but probably needed an army PT instructor to get him to fully engage – he thinks lifting his feet just six inches of the floor is the same as raising his thighs to full height. Claire was greatly encouraging him – but didn’t manage to rise to the standard of an army PT instructor – feet still just six inches off ground. However he was happy to join in with a smiling face.
As I type he is in the bath splashing around – not enough energy expended in the walk at home!!!
