Dan and I received handover from Marc at the start of the shift, along with the petty cash. Fela was in the lounge while Michael was working in the basement.
We prepared to leave for shopping, but Fela was hesitant, becoming vocally unhappy and rocking while Dan updated the board. Carla phoned to check on Fela and advised us on how to proceed.
We then drove to the butcher’s and Lidl. Fela and Dan stayed in the car while I did the shopping. Fela was offered a snack during this time. On the way back, we stopped at Tunstall Park for a 30-minute stroll, but when it began to rain, we returned to the car.
Back at home, we offloaded the shopping, prepared lunch, and ate together. In the afternoon, Fela declined to participate in activities, including Makaton and education at home, so I offered him a manicure instead. He later had his afternoon snack.
Handover and petty cash were completed again when Mina arrived.
