Shift Report:
- I assisted Fela from the bath, dried his back and Fela dried all other areas. We went upstairs and went through his night routine, then Fela brushed his teeth and passed urine. I then changed all his dressings for fresh ones. He got into bed by 22.15, we said prayer, I wished him good night, turned music on low and left by 22.25. Fela was awake until 05.40 and prompted him to the toilet. Got back into bed rested, remaining awake. I went up to Fela with supplements , drink and a pear, at 07.25. After he got into the shower , asked for 5 twice. I then assisted Fela out, drying his back and Fela’s doing the rest. We went through his morning routine and I redressed all bandages. Went down for breakfast at 08.40. A little noisy at the table. We sat said prayer and Fela ate his cornflakes. Had his supplements. Drinking his water at time of report.
