After Fela came out of the bath, I assisted him to dry off. He then brushed his teeth, and we went to his room to complete his evening routine. Fela was in bed by 22:25. I gave him a massage, and we prayed together. He fell asleep at 22:36.
Fela slept until 01:53, when he woke and was prompted to use the toilet. He passed urine and returned to bed. His weighted blanket was applied. He settled back to sleep at 04:35.
At 06:30, I went to his room, greeted him, and we came downstairs. He took his morning supplements with water, then had a shower and brushed his teeth.
Breakfast was prepared, and we prayed and ate together. After finishing his breakfast, Fela became agitated. He was given space, and I remained in the kitchen with the door closed while continuing to observe him. The period of agitation lasted approximately 20 minutes. Anti-anxiety oil was offered, which he accepted, and he appeared calm afterwards.
Fela then took his remaining supplements, and we went upstairs to get ready for the day. Day staff arrived while we were still upstairs, and KO assisted in supporting Fela downstairs.
Overall, aside from the period of agitation after breakfast, Fela was quiet and completed most of his routines well throughout the shift.
