Arrived on shift with Mercy, said morning to Fela on sofa was quite vocally unhappy. Had a handover from Brandy and petty cash checked and signed. Chores were completed. Baking was done, Fela continued to be verbal then rocking, jerking and guttural. Saying no to updating the board when asked. Very insistent when asking staff to hoover, getting up and pulling arms and fingers to point to hoover, as he was so unsettled we left to allow Fela to calm. Fela had his lickings and continued to be vocal. Continuously asking for foods. When wanting the music changing on the tv again attempting to pull staff’s arms and fingers to point. Music was changed to his choice. Refused again for the board to be updated. Lunch was prepared, Fela messed before using the toilet and sitting for lunch. Prayer was said and ate. Fela was vocal throughout and when started to rock his head vinously and very vocal we moved away and gave space. Fela had his water and dessert. Still didn’t seem happy and remained vocal. As wasn’t happy we did not ask to dry dishes. Fela sat in the lounge and asked for 5 and door shut. So I shut door and left as requested. Fela still refused staff to update the board throughout the day. Carla and Michael arrived to drop items off. Carla had a talk to Fela and Fela took Carla to set the table, board was updated and Fela agreed. A movie was put on of Fela’s choice. Carla and Michael left, Fela had his snack and tea. Seemed much calmer although still vocal. Shahab arrived on shift, handover given and petty cash checked and signed. Fela declined for a walk in Chatterley when board was updated.
