20/10/2022 – Day shift – marc hancock

Shift Report:

Fela was asleep on arrival , Dan gave us a handover and then left. Fela awoke at 09.15, Julie went up and did the morning routine, Fela took some time doing this. Eventually coming down at 11.40. I asked Fela as he went into the toilet  to go into the lounge and I’ll get his breakfast. As I went into the kitchen Fela followed me in and I turned to him to see he rushed at me attempting to bite my arm, I attempted to exit the kitchen and as I was about to exit Fela did manage to hold my right arm and bit my wrist, a quick bite and then let go and ran screaming/shouting into the lounge. I shut the door and after a minute exited and went into sleep room. We waited for Fela to calm. Which took 15 minutes or so. In the mean time Julie rang Carla to inform of the incident. I sustained a deep bruising to my right wrist and a pulled muscle to left side upper chest. I filled in incident report on line, and an accident report. I remained in sleep in room after Emma B had rang and had recommended that I should as a precaution after consulting with Carla . And will be relieved to go home by Claire this afternoon. Fela remained vocal at times. Julie prepared lunch and sat with Fela. After had ice cream, then relaxed listening to music. Julie suggested to Fela to have a lie down, which he agreed. Lay down with relaxing music. Didn’t have a nap sat up again after 20 minutes and vocal throughout. Now listening to music.
