Arrived at Fela’s and had handover from Rob and Kingsley, went up to Fela who was in the shower. We went through the morning routine, dressed, brushed his teeth then went down for his breakfast. Fela did a lot of messing and threading, then sat said prayer and ate. Has been quite noisy since getting up. When finished he sat in his chair listening to music. I cleaned the shower room all mirrors and hoovered upstairs , the stairs and sleep room. Fela played with his Tonga drum. We all got ready and went for a local walk for half an hour . Fela was very sweaty on our return so while I made lunch, Anne changes all Fela’s clothes. Fela relaxed listening to music then used the toilet and sat for lunch. Said prayer and ate. Then had a pud. We did all dishes and cleaned surfaces. Fela at 12.30 became very unsettled , agitated and shouting/screaming, banging the table. Rang Carla to inform how Fela was and confirmed that education should be cancelled. Continued being agitated until calming at 13.30. He calmed enough and I went into him and put some relaxing music on. I asked if he would like a nap and Fela said 5 , asked again in 5 and Fela said no to a nap sat in his chair relaxing. Remained noisy and rocking at times and sometimes insistent about wanting foods. Had relaxing music on. Seemed a lot more settled by 14.15. Made his snack popcorn as he had requested this and a drink. Anne cleaned Fela’s walking boots with Fela. I then cleaned Fela’s keloids, and rubbed in Tiger Balm on Fela. Seemed very happy at this. Sitting relaxing with music at time of report.
