Three consecutive ambers in a row for Fela, BK gave handover to MH & I, CC was called as usual and then informed as well. She advised on the sleep, cancelled Aquafit for today and then informed us to give Fela the option of cycling (Green Door) and other parks for walk. MH did the TEACCH board with Fela given him three options to choose from Cycling, Burselm Park, and Brough Park and he went with Cycling at Green Door, CC was texted and agin informed on the phone about Fela’s choice, some of the chores were carried out and packed lunch was prepared. Fela had his broth with stuffed olives as there was no chicken drumstick and looked happy, smiling and went to pass urine. When we finished packing his bag to head for Green Door, he said no, we tried our best but he insisted on staying by point his fingers down. We again rang CC to inform her about Fela declining and she advised us offering him the pillow massage even if he doesn’t sleep as this will relax him whiles we put on relaxing music which shows fishes. Thankfully we caught Fela dozing off so it was a good idea to offer him the nap, the lounge was prepared and one of his pillow’s was brought for him to relax his head on as CC had advised, we didn’t give him the pillow massage as he was dozing, we left the lounge after everything was done and he slept for 5 minutes. He woke up relaxed, smiling and lied down in the sofa, we hope he may fall back asleep but it didn’t happen after the 30 minutes. CC called later to handover to MH & I about some few things she has considered after speaking to one of the staff at Green Door, she instructed we pack the car at disabled bays, or park somewhere safe and when we are done with the activity for the day, the driver will go get the car to pick staff and Fela up. CC & MC dropped off some items, MH went to take it from the in the car whiles I sat with Fela to finish his lunch, Fela dried all dishes afterwards, he was dozing again and this time when we offered him the nap he didn’t refuse, he slept for 30 minutes and we work him up. He went to use the toilet (bowel & urine), spent almost 20 minutes on the toilet before coming. He washed his hands, dried and came for his snack, pulling his shorts and underwear up and down. Handover given to WA when he came in, Fela relaxed to jazz music when I left.
