On arrival for my shift, we received a handover from Loretta. The petty cash was counted and signed. We then received a call from Carla, who advised us on the activity for the day.
Fela spent some time playing Jenga and then had his tea. We later prepared and went out for a walk to Tunstall Park. During the walk, Fela explored the area, touching the trees, and appeared happy and settled.
We then returned to the car, where Fela had his bone broth. On arrival back home, Fela went to relax in the lounge while I prepared lunch. Once lunch was ready, we prayed before eating.
Later, Michael and Carla arrived with a gift for Fela. He unwrapped it and appeared pleased to receive a personalised painting with a Bible verse. Michael hung the painting on the wall.
Fela appeared a bit tired, and a nap was offered. He requested five minutes twice and later declined the nap. While he was watching André Rieu, Carla advised switching off the television during foot physio, as Fela concentrates better without it. Fela engaged well during the foot physio session.
Carla and Michael later left. Marc had already arrived for his shift, and we completed the handover. At the time I left, Fela was having a nap.
