I arrived for the day shift, greeted Fela and received a handover from Dan. On arrival, Fela appeared vocally unhappy . Carla called to check on Fela and provided guidance for the day. Before leaving the house, a social story about shopping at Lidl and visiting the butchers was printed and read through with Fela. We then went to Lidl, where we did the shopping. After shopping, Fela had his snack in the car. We then went to Tunstall Park for a walk. However, the car park was full so we drove around looking for a parking space before realising that a festival was taking place at the park. we changed plans and went to Burslem Park instead, where Fela enjoyed a 30 minute walk. He remained calm throughout and did well. After the walk, we visited the butchers to purchase some meat before returning home. Fela had his lunch and helped to dry the dishes afterwards. He then relaxed while listening to music. Fela declined both makaton and education at home. Brandy arrived for the evening shift and I provided handover. Fela was in a good mood at the end of my shift.
