ela has been in a good mood all day. It was very humid so his energy levels were not as high as usual, for example he could only manage 50 minutes at the gym and was asking to leave repeatedly just before.
Fela enjoyed all his meals especially homemade popcorn with walnuts, and tortilla chips since he requested chips, and homemade pizza for lunch. All his supplements were given. Despite it being a very high pollen count today, he has coped well without needing any echinacea. He has not blown his nose once.
After lunch, we did the board and Fela did some colouring of print-outs of objects around Fela’s house e.g. bed, table, tv, chair. He became very much engrossed in this and coloured the bedroom almost exclusively in blue. I offered him some more guidance with the second print-out by initiating each object with different colours. This helped him to vary his colour choices. I gave him a manicure which he really enjoyed. He requested a facial trim but I explained that the trimming kit wasn’t here; he pulled me upstairs to check the bags on the landing, then he was satisfied it wasn’t here.
Fela was not keen on bouncing on his ball this evening as he was clearly too tired. He has spent a lot of the afternoon picking at his keloids and making them bleed so a lot of aloe vera leaves were given to him to rub on his face.
At the time of writing, Fela is splashing in the bath.
