Fela retired to bed at 10:10pm and drifted off to sleep at 10:35pm, resting peacefully until 4:45am. He was encouraged to use the toilet but was hesitant and only went at 5:10am. Afterwards, I checked his bed for wetness, and I replaced the bedding. Although he returned to his room, he remained awake for the rest of the morning. At 6:30am, his morning routine commenced. He enjoyed a warm shower, then had breakfast, and later dressed for the day with only minimal support. While Fela was still taking his supplements, Michael and Carla arrived, followed shortly by Dan. Shahab assisted me with helping Fela get dressed. On the arrival of day staff, I provided a handover, and together we reviewed and signed the petty cash.
