I arrived at Fela’s and said good morning, he was finishing his breakfast, Fela has been very vocal since waking. Myself and Mina had a handover from Paul, checked petty cash. Fela after some messing took his apron off and sat on sofa relaxing with music. Carla rang and advised if required to offer alternatives as activities. I went through the board with Fela and he chose Longton Park as a destination. Seemed to cheer up. I prepared his lunch for his return and then his snack and drink which he had. I de-iced the freezer again as it builds ice quite quickly. Cleaned kitchen area. We all got ready and went in the car to Longton Park. Walked for a good hour. On our return Fela used the toilet and put his apron on for lunch. Fela has been quite vocal and clapping, slapping legs, banging feet since this morning. He sat, said prayer and ate, after had a cake. Sat on the sofa still vocal. We then did makaton which Fela enjoyed and did well. We then read a poem about cake. I read Fela a story “the hungry caterpillar” . Fela then insisted on wanting some TD Jakes on the tv. Which I put on. Fela became very vocal and rocking vigorously after we left for him to relax.
