Assess Athlete’s foot condition and effect of orthotic insoles on feet on 08/06/2023

The purpose of the consultation was to assess Fela's athlete's foot, and just exam his feet generally to determine whether his feet are in good health due to his wearing orthotic insoles.
Cathy commented that Fela's feet were in good condition. She inquired about his footwear and was satisfied that he is wearing the right shoes. She gave Fela the following treatments:
-cut the nails which needed cutting.
-removed the hard skin from Fela's toes.
-removed lot of the white flaky skin which was between and behind some of Fela's pinky toes.
-used a drill to exfoliate the nails.
In the process of removing the white skin from behind the pinky toes, she determined that Fela has interdigital corns between his two smallest toes where the joints are rubbing together. HE DOES NOT HAVE ATHLETE'S FOOT.

Medication Prescribed: NA.
To continue with the castor oil which she said is obviously working to keep the skin in good condition.

Follow Up:Carla asked her to send the outcome of the assessment to Fela's doctor at Baddeley Green Surgery which she agreed to do.
A follow up appointment has been made for Thursday 3 August. She hopes to remove more of the white area in between his smallest toes.
Fela's pinky toes curl inwards so he is prone to this and she hopes to be able to design a prop for him in the future which will create space between the two toes and keep them from rubbing against each other.
