- Eat less sugar [the more sugar you eat, the more you want to eat]
- Eat more protein [from a variety of sources].
- Add collagen-rich foods e.g. sardines, bone broth, berries.
- Up sleep quality.
- Eat more healthy fat e.g. coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil.
- Stop eating high sugar fruits e.g. watermelon, dried fruits, mangoes, pineapples.
Dr Michael Mosley compared the suger content in various fruit: “”One average-sized mango contains 45 grams of sugar. To put that in comparison with other fruits, one cup of grapes has 23 grams, a cup of raspberries has five grams, while a whole avocado contains 1.33 grams of sugar.”
