Yesterday I spoke to one of Fela's neighbours. He is the owner of the black BMW who has complained that Fela has scratched his car.
I have:
– given him an autism card.
– explained about Fela's ritualistic behaviour.
– reminded he and his wife to call me if they have any further issues.
– reassured him that his daughter need not be afraid of Fela if he taps on the window.
– reassured him that we are working on strategies to deter Fela from touching or leaning on other peoples' cars.

When leaving the house, please talk to Fela and encourage him to walk to the car, play with fidget toy inside the car, stay close to you, link arms, keep hands at sides and be gentle.
Thank you for your co-operation!
