To: All Team Members when on sleep shift:
-After Fela wakes up, prompt him to the toilet immediately. This is to prevent bedwetting as much as possible.
-After the toilet, he may choose the shower. If Fela wants to shower, he will probably pull the cord above the toilet to activate the shower.
– After he has showered and dried himself, you may prompt him to put on his underpants and vest, then he can have his waking supplements in water, tea and fruit before continuing with his morning routine.
– The best place to have his refreshments is whilst seated on the bottom of the bed. You may place a dry towel underneath him to prevent any spillages.
-If Fela wants to go back to bed after he uses the toilet, you can then bring his waking supplements in water, tea and fruit on his wooden tray.
TIP: To help Fela wake up fully, open the curtains or switch on the overhead light. The light sends a message to his brain it's time to wake up.
