This is a reminder to keep an eye on Fela's fingers throughout the day. You are permitted to cut his nails or any hanging skin with his nail clippers [cut across, then file the edges], and then file down gently so the skin is smooth. If the skin and nails are not smooth, he will pull them off which may cause bleeding and soreness.
His nails grow very quickly so I aim to give him a manicure every week and a pedicure every two weeks, but this not always possible.
Also, please offer him some almond oil to moisturize his hands and nails which are prone to dryness from frequent handwashing.
The nail kit is kept upstairs with the trimming kit.
