Yesterday Fela's check up at the Dentist went smoothly. Fela was very patient as we had to wait for around 45 minutes to be seen.
The dentist could see there was more erosion of tooth enamel where Fela tends to grind his teeth. He is concerned that the acidity from the lemon in Fela's electrolyte drinks might be contributing to this. Fela also has lemon in some of his teas.
From next week, please let us reduce his lemon consumption by reducing the electrolyte drink to lunchtime only. This will be reflected in the Menu wc 7 June.
If Fela has lemon in any drink including the electrolyte drink and teas, please encourage him to have a small glass of water afterwards to help wash it out of his mouth.
