He compared the old pair of insoles with the ones in the Sketchers trainers he was wearing.
He measured Fela's feet.
He asked if Fela is happy with his existing insoles, and I explained that it is difficult to know because he cannot tell us verbally. I reassured him that Fela was recently assessed by a podiatrist who did not communicate any concerns about his feet, and that Fela seemed to be walking normally such that there are no signs that the current orthotics are uncomfortable.

I showed him the dents in Fela's old insoles (evidence of wear and tear) and gave him a bit of background on Fela's experience of wearing insoles. He asked Fela to remove his shoes and socks which he did with assistance.

Medication Prescribed: NA
Follow Up:The technician will action a new pair of insoles which should last 6-9months. The recent referral from the GP will last for 2 years so we can contact them anytime during this period if Fela has any issues.
The new insoles will be delivered to Green Pastures, then Carla will bring them to Fela's house for him to begin using.
